BAGAIMANA SEJARAH LAHIRNYA AIR MODELLING ? :-k

Mungkin rekan2 ada yang tahu dan paham tentang sejarah lahirnya air modelling di dunia mohon di revw ??? TKS

kalo ga masalah, sejarahnya juga hampir setua umat manusia.
kalo dari kacamata dunia barat ada DAEDALUS, juga malaikat, kalo dari dunia timur malah lebih banyak lagi..., eh ,ups .. itu kan manusianya yang ingin terbang.., but, it's must be test with something, jika kita coba langsung........wah bisa langsung ko'it kita, so.., di buatlah mainan yg bisa terbang..., look in wright bersaudara dengan mainan terbang dari perancis ?. kalo di indonesia sendiri ada wiweko,nurtanio ( biografi nurtanio dan wiweko, juga majalah terbang)....
..eh...nyambung kaga ya ? belon makan siang kok......

Redblur, sayang infonya sepenggal-sepenggal aja...tapi paling tidak ada tambahan info...mungkin Rkn2 lainnya special para suhu punya info sejarah airmodelling di dunia??

Bloer, itu sih sejarah yg remote control, kalo Aeromodelling kan bukan cuman itu...contohnya glider mungkin udah setua manusia, seperti pkde N/F biang

Menarik sekali tema yang diangkat, tapi terus terang saya kurang faham pengertian aeromodelling secara definitif, kalau bedanya dengan R/C aeromodelling gimana?...

"In 1799 Sir George Cayley (1773-1857), of Brompton, Yorkshire, England, was first to document the aerodynamic forces of flight, pitch, roll, and yaw with a diagram on a small silver disk. He was the first to realize that a cambered airfoil is more efficient than a flat surface. His 1804 glider had adjustable tail surfaces to control the direction of flight.

He tested and measured the lifting properties of various surfaces by attaching them to a whirling arm. He recognized the importance of having the wing at the correct angle in relation to the airflow (angle of attack), as well as the fact that superposed wings (bi- or triplane design) gave maximum lift with minimum structure weight." http://www.ohtm.org

kalau yang di indonesia mungkin masih lebih mudah ngelacaknya, krn buku ttg wiweko dan nurtanio masih agak mudah mencarinya.......
coba, di buku NURTANIO, mulai halaman 26, kenal wiweko (hal 27)....semuanya berkisar tn '40 an ..., tapi mungkin bisa lebih tua lagi kalo di runut ke belakang / club dari para sinyo dan nonie belanda yg juga sudah mulai senang kegiatan dirgantara.
